The Bathurst Heritage Trust Commission was incorporated on March 28, 1989.
The Museum grew and developed into a remarkable repository of the treasures and histories of the region.
In January 2004, the Museum, Archives, and Genealogy could call 360 Douglas Avenue home. It continues to be operated by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Le Musée a grandi et s'est développé pour devenir un dépôt remarquable des trésors et de l'histoire de la région.
En janvier 2004, le Musée, les Archives et la Généalogie pouvaient élire domicile au 360, avenue Douglas. Il continue d'être opéré par un groupe de bénévoles dévoués.
